Desktop Support TechnicianPosition OverviewThe Desktop Support Technician provides on-site technical support to end users, ensuring reliable operation of hardware, software, and related IT systems. This role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, and user assistance, all while delivering excellent customer service in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide on-site support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including operating systems and common applications.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and software.
- Assist with basic network connectivity issues and ensure proper configurations.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and equipment checks.
- Document and track support requests through a ticketing system.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve more complex issues.
- Offer user training and guidance on IT-related topics.
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
- Ensure adherence to organizational IT policies and procedures.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
