This position involves leading Agile teams and applying Scrum principles to deliver business value. The role requires facilitating all Scrum ceremonies, ensuring adherence to the Scrum process, and guiding teams in adopting Agile principles. The ideal candidate will manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment and serve as a key liaison between project, technology, and business partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Agile teams and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Create, maintain, and execute project plans, managing deliverables and tracking work using Jira.
- Manage governance routines, including daily and weekly meetings, tollgates, and documentation updates.
- Execute on Enterprise Change Management requirements and ensure adherence to change standards.
- Work with the team to identify and remove impediments efficiently.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between project, technology, and business partners.
- Establish and maintain status templates and provide regular status updates.
- Synthesize complex data into actionable reports and presentations for various audiences.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of experience in Agile methodologies, including hands-on experience as a Scrum Master. Must have project management experience beyond Scrum facilitation and experience with Release Management.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Jira for managing deliverables and tracking work. Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP, along with an understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrum Master Certification (e.g., CSM, PSM).
- Experience with Program Increment (PI) preparation, commonly associated with SAFe environments.
- Broader exposure to multiple Agile frameworks, such as Kanban for flow-based work or XP engineering practices.
- Experience establishing supporting documentation for governance routines (e.g., playbooks, RACI, checkpoints).
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated pay range for this position is $70.00/hr to $73.94/hr. The final rate will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
