Summary

The Sales Director will be responsible for driving business growth mainly on Infrastructure (Infra) services. The role involves developing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and closing large enterprise deals. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a proven background in IT services sales.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for ERP, Digital Engineering, and Infra service offerings.
  • Achieve revenue, margin, and profitability targets across assigned regions and industry verticals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and create scalable go-to-market (GTM) plans.

Customer Engagement & Account Management

  • Build and manage trusted relationships with CXOs, IT leaders, and business stakeholders.
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles including prospecting, solution positioning, pricing, negotiations, and closure.
  • Expand existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling value-added services.

Solutioning & Collaboration

  • Work closely with Presales, Delivery, and Solution Architects to design customer-centric solutions.
  • Lead the development of proposals, RFP responses, and commercial models.
  • Ensure alignment of client needs with organizational capabilities.

Market Insights & Positioning

  • Understand market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies across ERP, digital engineering, and infra services.
  • Influence solution roadmaps and new service offerings based on customer and market insights.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and partner engagements to strengthen brand positioning.

Leadership & Reporting

  • Build and manage a high-performance sales team (if applicable).
  • Drive pipeline management, forecasting, CRM hygiene, and sales reporting.
  • Provide leadership updates on deal status, risks, and strategic plans.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field
  • 12 - 18 years of experience in IT services sales, with proven experience in:
    • ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, MS Dynamics, etc.)
    • Digital Engineering (product engineering, software development, cloud-native engineering, DevOps)
    • Infrastructure Services (cloud, data center, managed services, network & security)
  • Demonstrated ability to close large enterprise deals and manage complex sales cycles.
  • Strong understanding of technology transformation, cloud modernization, and digital product engineering concepts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience selling to global clients across Manufacturing, Retail, BFSI, Healthcare, or Technology sectors.
  • Strong partner ecosystem knowledge (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, SAP, Oracle).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Proven team leadership and collaboration skills.
