Vaco is hiring a full time IT Vendor Manager to sit on-site 3x week in Charlotte, NC. Must be willing to work on a W2 basis and no sponsorship is offered. Local to Charlotte, NC candidates are HIGHLY preferred.
We are seeking an experienced IT Vendor Manager to oversee and optimize relationships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and other third-party technology vendors. This role is responsible for ensuring service quality, cost efficiency, and alignment with business objectives across a multi-vendor IT ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day relationships with MSPs and IT vendors, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), KPIs, and contractual obligations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor performance, escalations, and service delivery issues
- Lead vendor selection, onboarding, contract negotiation, and renewal processes
- Monitor and report on vendor performance metrics, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement
- Partner with internal IT, security, procurement, and business stakeholders to align vendor services with organizational needs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including cost optimization, service enhancements, and process standardization
- Ensure vendors comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and security standards
- Support incident management and escalation coordination across MSP partners
- Maintain accurate documentation of vendor contracts, performance reports, and governance frameworks
