An SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) Payroll Analyst/Consultant manages payroll processing, configuration, and compliance within the EC environment, integrating with systems like Benefitfocus for benefits administration and Workforce Solutions for time tracking. They ensure accurate payroll calculations, manage data integration, and optimize processes to meet local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
System Configuration & Management: Configure Employee Central Payroll (ECP) systems, including pay structures, tax configurations, and payroll policies, ensuring accurate gross-to-net calculations, retroactive pay, and deductions.
Integration Support (Benefitfocus & Workforce Solutions): Facilitate data integration between EC and Benefitfocus using standard pre-packaged integration packs for automated benefits deduction updates (inbound/outbound). Coordinate with Workforce Solutions (time/attendance) for seamless time tracking to payroll data integration.
Data Accuracy & Validation: Oversee data integration between Employee Central and ECP, ensuring employee, salary, and tax data are accurate, and perform payroll testing, simulation, and quality assurance.
Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize payroll processes to increase efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and enhance compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations.
Support & Reporting: Provide support to users regarding payroll inquiries, perform troubleshooting of interface errors, and generate necessary payroll reports, including quarterly/year-end tax reporting.
Requirements
Strong experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and EC Payroll.
Knowledge of SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) for configuring third-party integrations like Benefitfocus.
Understanding of time management systems (e.g., Workforce Software) integration.
Experience with payroll compliance, tax reporting, and data management.
Key Integration Points
Benefitfocus: Pre-packaged CPI process integrations allow sending employee demographics from EC to Benefitfocus and receiving benefits deductions back into EC Payroll (using inbound payMax files).
Workforce Solutions/Time Management: Integration ensures Time-Off and Time Sheet data (positive/negative time) flows from EC into ECP.
