job summary:
This position focuses on complex PowerClerk configurations, data analysis, production issue resolution, and production support enablement to support both delivery and steady state operations.
IMS is the enterprise platform used to manage interconnection requests for utility scale and distributed generation across multiple regulated jurisdictions. Client is transitioning from a legacy Salesforce based solution to PowerClerk, a highly configurable, rules driven platform. This role plays a critical part in ensuring system stability as new programs are delivered while production support demand continues to scale.
This position is execution oriented and operates with increasing independence. The Application Analyst is expected to analyze complex system behavior, define solutions, and implement them. They will also help reduce long term support risk through the identification of ticketing patterns and generating documentation that others can follow.

responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain complex workflows, business rules, and logic within PowerClerk.
- Investigate and resolve high impact production issues, including root cause analysis and PowerClerk configuration.
- Perform advanced data analysis, validation, and testing to support migrations, releases, and production stability.
- Support complex data migration activities as needed, including but not limited to:
o Defining and validating data mappings
o Import verification and reconciliation
o Identifying data quality issues and proposing cleanup approaches
- Identify repeat issues and define reusable configuration patterns, guardrails, and "known fixes" to reduce future support escalation.
- Build and maintain technical documentation, including configuration guidance, data mappings, and support procedures.
- Support technical testing efforts by validating results prior to release or go live.
- Participate as a senior technical contributor in Agile delivery, including planning, refinement, standups and retrospectives.
- Provide guidance and informal mentoring to analysts and program designers as needed.
qualifications:
- 7-9+ years of experience in a technical analyst, systems analyst, or application support role.
- Experience supporting enterprise systems with complex workflows, configuration logic, and reporting.
- Strong hands on experience with data migration, validation, and reconciliation.
- Experience working with configuration driven or low code platforms; PowerClerk experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve technically complex issues in a production environment.
- Experience working in regulated or compliance driven environments.
- Comfortable prioritizing work based on system risk and operational impact.
