Job Description
We are seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in lifecycle marketing, email/CRM automation, segmentation, and experimentation and a proven ability to drive activation, engagement, retention, and expansion through data-informed multi-channel programs.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to lifecycle strategy across onboarding, engagement, expansion, and reactivation. Identify journey gaps and propose data-grounded solutions.
- Design multi-touch campaigns and nurture flows across email, in-app, and other channels. Translate business objectives into program briefs and audience strategies.
- Own experimentation by planning and executing A/B and multivariate tests on messaging, timing, sequencing, and targeting. Convert results into actionable recommendations.
- Leverage data, including segmentation, cohort analysis, and funnel metrics, to find opportunities and reduce friction. Partner with Data teams to refine personalization logic.
- Build and optimize automated workflows in platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, or Iterable using behavioral and product usage signals.
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Growth to align lifecycle programs with GTM priorities and product launches. Represent lifecycle in planning.
- Drive reporting and insights by maintaining dashboards, surfacing trends, and presenting learnings that inform program direction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-7 years in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, CRM, or marketing operations, ideally within B2B SaaS or a self-serve platform.
- Hands-on marketing automation expertise in at least one major platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Iterable, Marketo, or HubSpot), including journey builders, logic branches, and dynamic content.
- Strong segmentation skills using behavioral data, product usage signals, and CRM fields to create actionable audiences.
- Analytical mindset with experience pulling and interpreting data from tools such as Looker, Amplitude, or Mixpanel and familiarity with open rate, CTR, and conversion benchmarks.
- Detail-oriented organization with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, QA, timing, and stakeholder updates.
- Clear written and verbal communication to document processes, summarize tests, and inform cross-functional partners.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with customer data platforms such as Segment or mParticle.
- HTML/CSS for email production and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with advertiser ecosystems and two-sided platforms.
