Location: Beaverton, Oregon (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Designer for a contract position. This role involves working on men's sportswear/outerwear and men's/women's basketball outerwear. The ideal candidate is a flexible, self-starting professional capable of cross-functional collaboration. This position is based on-site with a hybrid model where Fridays are remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop patterns for apparel with a focus on outerwear.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product design and development.
• Utilize CAD and 3D software for pattern design and virtual prototyping.
• Ensure technical specifications and fit standards are met for production.
• Contribute to the creation of men's sportswear and basketball outerwear collections.

Required Qualifications

Education: An Associate or Bachelor's degree is required.

Experience: A minimum of 8+ years of technical design experience in the apparel industry is required. Experience with a major competitor brand is highly valued.

Technical Skills:

• Pattern making experience with an expertise in outerwear.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with CAD Pattern Design software, specifically Optitex.
• Familiarity with 3D software such as Clo or Browzwear.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated flexibility and a self-starter attitude.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments.

Compensation

The anticipated pay range for this position is $40.00 to $48.00 per hour.
