Salary Range: $74,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Battle Creek that are seeking skilled Electrical Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Designs, tests, and commissions electrical systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Develops and maintains electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex electrical issues on production machinery.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new electrical systems into existing infrastructure.
• Ensures compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E).
• Manages and executes electrical upgrade projects, from conception to completion.
• Selects and specifies electrical components, sensors, and control devices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic design and panel layouts.
• Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, and industrial automation systems.
• Experience with power distribution systems, including voltage selection, circuit protection, and safety standards.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotics or automated manufacturing systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN Electric P8 proficiency.
• Experience with vision systems and industrial cameras.
