The OpportunityWe are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Battle Creek that are seeking skilled Electrical Engineers. Key Responsibilities- Designs, tests, and commissions electrical systems for manufacturing equipment.
- Develops and maintains electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
- Troubleshoots and resolves complex electrical issues on production machinery.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new electrical systems into existing infrastructure.
- Ensures compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E).
- Manages and executes electrical upgrade projects, from conception to completion.
- Selects and specifies electrical components, sensors, and control devices.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic design and panel layouts.
- Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, and industrial automation systems.
- Experience with power distribution systems, including voltage selection, circuit protection, and safety standards.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with robotics or automated manufacturing systems.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
- PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
- AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN Electric P8 proficiency.
- Experience with vision systems and industrial cameras.
