Key Responsibilities- Designs, develops, and tests electrical systems and components for manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery to minimize downtime.
- Implements and maintains electrical safety protocols and ensures compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into new and existing manufacturing processes.
- Develops and maintains detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and documentation.
- Participates in the selection, installation, and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic design and panel layouts.
- Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial control systems.
- Experience with relevant electrical codes and safety standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E).
- Demonstrated ability to optimize electrical systems for efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with robotics or automated manufacturing systems.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in a programming language like Python or C++.
- Experience with vision systems or industrial cameras.
