Job Title: SAP FICO Consultant S/4HANA Transformation
Location: Remote
Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Finance & Controlling (FI/CO) and hands-on experience in S/4HANA upgrade, migration, and transformation projects. The consultant will support finance business processes, system configuration, reconciliation activities, and business process optimization aligned with S/4HANA best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and support SAP FI/CO modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center, and Profit Center Accounting.
Support business process analysis, gap analysis, and functional solution design.
Participate in S/4HANA upgrade, migration, and conversion activities including Universal Journal and finance data model changes.
Perform post-upgrade finance configuration validation and reconciliations.
Work closely with technical teams on SPAU/SPDD impact analysis and validation.
Support Closing Cockpit and financial closing activities ensuring compliance and data accuracy.
Analyze and redesign finance business processes for automation, simplification, and optimization.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to implement end-to-end finance solutions.

Required Skills

8+ years of SAP FICO experience.
Strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP FI/CO.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or upgrade projects.
Expertise in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting.
Strong understanding of Universal Journal and S/4HANA Finance architecture.
Experience with finance reconciliation and period-end closing activities.
Knowledge of SPAU/SPDD validation processes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification preferred.
Experience working in large enterprise transformation projects.
