Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Solutions Architect to serve as the design authority for IT Operations Management (ITOM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) capabilities across the enterprise.
This role is responsible for defining architecture, establishing standards, and governing implementation, ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices and ServiceNow''s Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
The architect will lead enterprise design decisions for Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB, partnering with platform teams, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver trusted configuration data, scalable automation, and improved operational resilience.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or platform architecture roles
8+ years serving as a ServiceNow ITOM / CMDB Architect with demonstrated design ownership (not solely administrator or developer experience) ServiceNow Expertise
Proven architectural expertise in: o CMDB & CSDM o Discovery o Service Mapping o Event Management o Enterprise CMDB governance Design & Integration Skills
Strong experience designing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
Experience defining scalable integration patterns and security models · Scripting proficiency (JavaScript required; PowerShell and Python preferred) Processes & Frameworks
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and their impact on architectural design decisions
Experience aligning ServiceNow solutions to enterprise operating models.
Certification Requirements Candidates must hold current, active ServiceNow CIS‐level certifications (Required · CIS-Discovery · CIS-Event Management · CIS-Service Mapping Certifications must be active)
Preferred · Certified Application Developer (CAD) · ITIL v4 Foundation
