As a Duck Creek Developer contractor in our IT Commercial Lines team, you'll participate in our transformation to the latest tech stacks, Agile and Lean processes. As part of an agile team, you'll support key business initiatives to transform the platforms Acquisition, Experience, Product, and Core Servicing functionality. You'll use your programming, analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaboration skills on innovative projects impacting our customers, agents, and employees. You will be assigned to Agile teams for production fixes and new business feature enhancements in DuckCreek.

responsibilities:
- Analyzes requirements for software programs or application enhancements
- Creates detailed programming specifications
- Writes or modifies code for complex software programs, components, or applications
- Performs development testing and audits results
- Supports and maintains software programs, components, or applications in a production environment
- Creates and maintains documentation
- Provides input and advice to others in designing or programming best practices
qualifications:
Required skills:
- Duck Creek application development in Policy admin/servicing (DC Claims or Billing experience is not a substitute)
- Experience in Content Development/manuscripts
- Experience with Software Design patterns
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, as part of a team, and with business partners
Experience with manuscript development, configuring coverages and rating, designing and implementing rules and workflows, API integrations, and Flagr
Preferred skills and experiences:
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, Front end scripting languages, SQL
- Experience in Commercial Lines Insurance business
- Familiarity with Lean, Agile development, and Git
- Minimum of 7 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
- {OR} Completion of a technical training program and 4 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
- {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology related field of study and 4 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
