Role Overview
This is a key role focused on Pega Care Management, with the core responsibility of translating business requirements into the Pega platform. The objective is to rationalize multiple legacy care management applications into the Pega Care Management solution. This project seeks to use data and analytics to optimize members' drug therapies, ensuring they receive the best health outcomes at the lowest cost.
Project Overview
The project involves rationalizing four legacy Medicare care management workflow applications into the Pega Care Management application. It will support core workflow capabilities for Medical Clinical Programs and implement targeted enhancements to improve profitability. These enhancements include better data integration, telephony integration with AI transcription, and improved direct-to-provider messaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
- Lead blueprinting sessions and produce documentation.
- Map business requirements to Pega Care Management capabilities.
- Identify gaps and guide the development team on required extensions.
- Prioritize features and provide direction on focus areas.
- Bridge the gap between business and IT, focusing on process design and workflow creation.
- Ensure solutions align with desired business outcomes.
- Define a path for incremental deployment of care management workflows.
- Serve as the primary resource for configuring workflows in the Pega Care Management application.
Required Qualifications
- Pega Business Architect background.
- Certified Pega Business Architect (CPBA) certification.
- Experience with Pega Care Management, blueprinting capabilities, and the Care Management Framework.
- Experience in business analysis and process design.
- Strong communication and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work effectively between business and IT teams.
- Understanding of clinical PBM concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile product owner experience.
- Experience with AI-driven enhancements and rationalizing multiple workflow solutions.
- Broader healthcare or clinical operations exposure.
- Experience configuring telephony within the Pega application.
- Experience working with SureScripts or DirectTrust for clinical messaging.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $83.00 to $89.00 per hour. The final pay rate will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. A benefits package is available to eligible employees.
