Quality Assurance Consultant III

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 12 months

Role Overview

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant to create, optimize, and manage test processes. This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive testing strategy for a virtual assistant application, ensuring alignment with business stakeholders, and managing test execution to maintain high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and optimize test processes, including defect management and reporting.
  • Ensure alignment and sign-off for test cases from business and other stakeholders.
  • Manage test execution and resolve, communicate, or escalate any issues that may result in test plan variance.
  • Design test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met across all test environments.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive testing strategy for a virtual assistant application, encompassing functional, performance, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Oversee the execution of test cases, ensuring proper test planning and adherence to testing timelines.
  • Validate virtual chatbot intents, entities, grammars, and end-to-end workflows with fallback behaviors.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, including business stakeholders, developers, and support teams.
Required Qualifications

Experience:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong experience in developing and executing testing strategies for complex applications.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, DevOps practices, and tools such as ALM Octane.
  • Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
  • Knowledge of data versioning and data management practices.


Technical Skills:
  • Experience with testing frameworks and tools specific to testing APIs, NLP/NLU, GenAI, and chatbot applications.
  • Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and test management tools, including AI-assisted test creation with GitHub Copilot.
  • Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or PyTest.
  • Knowledge of Agile Practices, Application Development, Architecture, and User Experience Design.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Financial domain knowledge.
Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00/hr to $60.42/hr. A comprehensive benefits package is available for this position.
