Salary Range: $74,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Wayland region seeking Electrical Engineers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designs, tests, and commissions electrical systems for manufacturing equipment.
  • Develops and maintains electrical schematics, control logic, and documentation.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves complex electrical issues on production lines.
  • Implements and optimizes PLC programs and HMI interfaces.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams on new product introductions and process improvements.
  • Ensures compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Selects and specifies electrical components and hardware.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic design and panel layouts.
  • Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
  • Experience with motor control, power distribution, and electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E).

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) for industrial automation.
  • Familiarity with robotics and automation systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and their application in manufacturing.
  • Experience with vision systems for quality control and process automation.
  • Certification in relevant electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E).
