The OpportunityWe are partnering with organizations in Allegan that are seeking Electrical Engineers. Key Responsibilities- Designs, develops, and tests electrical systems and components for manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery to minimize downtime.
- Implements and maintains electrical safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into new and existing products.
- Develops and optimizes electrical control systems for automated manufacturing processes.
- Selects, specifies, and procures electrical components and equipment based on project requirements.
- Conducts root cause analysis of electrical failures and implements corrective actions.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, motor control systems, and industrial automation.
- Proficiency in interpreting and creating electrical schematics and control panel layouts.
- Experience with relevant industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 79).
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation systems.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers or lead small project teams.
