Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to understand application requirements and propose solutions.
- Develop and implement software applications for automation and process control.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing applications.
- Configure and optimize manufacturing execution systems (MES) and related software.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on application functionalities.
- Design and develop user interfaces for manufacturing control systems.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
- 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with automation or robotics.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and technical presentations.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with scripting languages (Python, MATLAB) for automation and data analysis.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE).
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA, EtherNet/IP).
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
