Job Title: Software Engineer 4 / SAP Basis & Security Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC - Hybrid (3 days onsite mandatory)
Contract Length: 18 months (possible extension or conversion)
Pay Rate: $69 - $74
Top Requirements:10+ years of SAP BASIS Administration with at least 2 full lifecycle S/4 HANA implementations5+ years of SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, BTP, MDG, and GRC experience including system architecture and lifecycle managementStrong experience with SAP security (roles, authorizations, user provisioning) and system performance tuningPlusses:Experience with SAP RISE and cloud-based SAP environmentsKnowledge of REST APIs, system integrations, and enterprise integration patternsExperience with building management systems (BMS) and operational technology integrationsExposure to cloud/container platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Docker)Financial services industry experienceJob Summary:In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Install, configure, monitor, and upgrade SAP systems (S/4HANA, NetWeaver, Solution Manager) and databases
- Perform SAP Basis administration including client copies, transport management, and system performance tuning
- Manage SAP security including role creation (PFCG), user access, and authorization design
- Monitor logs, SQL traces, and system dumps to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Support end-to-end SAP system lifecycle including upgrades, patching, and enhancements
- Lead and support S/4 HANA implementation efforts, including system configuration and environment management
- Design and support integrations across systems using REST APIs, messaging, and data movement patterns
- Conduct audits for compliance and identify Segregation of Duties (SoD) risks
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders on enterprise-wide solutions
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and best practice guidance to engineering teams
- Support building management system integrations and data solutions within Corporate Properties
- Recommend emerging technologies and improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency
