Job Posting SummaryWe're seeking a hands-on analytics leader to manage a team responsible for advanced data analytics, business modeling, predictive insights, budget oversight, and program controls. This role supports high-impact decision-making by building models, analyzing operational trends, delivering executive-level reporting, and overseeing key financial and procurement processes. Ideal for a technical leader who enjoys both strategy and roll-up-your-sleeves problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of analysts; manage workload, development, and output quality.
- Build business models, perform predictive and "what-if" analysis, and conduct deep-dive operational analytics.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting; ensure data quality and consistency.
- Oversee operating and capital budgets; monitor financial performance and prepare variance reports.
- Manage procurement processes and vendor contracts for Operations teams.
- Implement process improvements, automation, and advanced analytics (AI/ML where applicable).
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
QualificationsMinimum:- Bachelor's degree (or 6+ years relevant experience).
- 7+ years in analytics, BI, or operations; 3+ years in leadership.
- 5-7 years in program/project controls.
- Strong SQL and Python skills; advanced Excel; familiarity with Tableau/Power BI.
- Experience with data lakes/warehouses and cloud data environments.
- Excellent communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
Preferred:- Master's degree in Analytics, Data Science, or Business.
- Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- Background in high-volume transaction industries (transportation, logistics, mobility, etc.).
- Finance and procurement experience.
