- Role Context
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance (R2R) Lead to drive end-to-end finance transformation. The role owns solution design, architecture, and delivery governance across finance processes including GL, closing, consolidation, and reporting..
This role requires close collaboration with client finance stakeholders, functional SMEs, solution architects, Manage R2R Consultants and technical teams to analyze business requirements, design scalable finance solutions, and configure S/4HANA Finance capabilities aligned with enterprise goals.
The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise in SAP Finance, strong consulting capabilities, and hands-on experience delivering end-to-end S/4HANA finance implementations across complex global environments.
- Key Responsibilities
Design & Solutioning
- Own end-to-end R2R solution design and delivery
- Drive finance transformation roadmap and standardization
- Lead fit-gap, solution blueprinting, and governance
- Own integration across MM, SD, PP, Treasury
- Oversee delivery (config, dev, testing, deployment)
- Lead data migration, reconciliation, and validation
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and SOX
- Lead stakeholder governance and steering committees
- Support pre-sales and solution shapingPartner with finance stakeholders and SMEs to understand accounting, reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Lead workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and fit-gap analysis for R2R processes.
- Design SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions aligned with business needs, SAP best practices, and Clean Core principles.
Configure SAP Finance functionalities including:
General Ledger (GL) Universal Journal
Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)
Asset Accounting (AA)
Bank Accounting & Cash Management
Intercompany Accounting
Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
Product Costing & COPA (Margin Analysis)
Financial Closing & Period-End Activities
ECCS / Consolidation (preferred)
Support integration design across SAP modules including:
SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO)
SAP MM (Procure to Pay)
SAP SD (Order to Cash)
SAP PP (Manufacturing accounting)
SAP Treasury, Cash Management
SAP Ariba / Concur (where applicable)
Delivery & Execution
- Translate business requirements into SAP-configurable and extensible solutions.
- Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
- Collaborate with ABAP, integration, and data migration teams.
- Support data migration strategy, mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
- Execute and support SIT, UAT, and defect resolution cycles.
- Provide hyper care support during deployment.

Functional Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance configuration.
- Deep understanding of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
- Expertise in Universal Journal and S/4HANA Finance innovations.
- Strong knowledge of financial closing, reporting, and consolidation.
- Experience with financial analytics and reporting (e.g., Fiori apps, embedded analytics).

- Strong understanding of SAP MM integration with:
- SAP MM (P2P)
- SAP SD (O2C)
- SAP PP
- Treasury & Cash Management
- Experience with IDocs, APIs, and interface coordination is preferred.

- Strong client-facing consulting and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and drive requirement discussions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and process documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in global delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification
- Experience in S/4HANA transformation programs (Greenfield/Brownfield/Selective Data Transition)
- Exposure to Central Finance, Group Reporting, or Advanced Financial Closing
- Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
