UX Researcher

Our banking client is looking for a UX Researcher to join their team! This will be a 12 month contract to start (high potential to extend) and hybrid to Chicago, IL (3 days per week onsite). Description
Our client's research group is seeking a Mixed Methods Researcher with a demonstrated track record of designing and executing end-to-end research strategies that inform innovation, discovery, and early-stage concept development. This individual is equally fluent in qualitative and quantitative methods and excels at translating ambiguous problem spaces into structured learning plans that drive strategic decisions. They will be focused on a visual refresh of the BDB app.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with financial services and/or banking specifically
Partners effectively with Design Systems teams to evaluate component usability, visual coherence, and system-level experience quality across touchpoints.
Applies deep understanding of mobile interaction patterns, platform conventions, and accessibility considerations when designing and interpreting research.
Evaluates visual and brand expression through research, assessing how design impacts trust, clarity, accessibility, and emotional response-particularly in high-stakes financial contexts.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
