About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Data Management Consultant to support critical Commercial Banking data initiatives. In this role, you will partner with business and technology stakeholders to improve data quality, strengthen regulatory reporting processes, and drive enterprise data management programs.

You will work on complex, large-scale data challenges that influence business decisions, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate combines strong data management expertise with the ability to collaborate across teams, analyze complex data issues, and deliver scalable solutions in a highly regulated environment.
What You'll Do
  • Lead analysis and resolution of complex data management challenges impacting Commercial Banking operations and regulatory reporting.
  • Partner with business, risk, technology, and data governance teams to define and execute data management strategies.
  • Evaluate and improve data quality, lineage, controls, and governance processes across critical data assets.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, root causes, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Support enterprise regulatory reporting initiatives, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and data standards.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable data solutions and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data quality rules, controls, and monitoring processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on data integrity, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation.
  • Contribute subject matter expertise on Commercial Banking products and associated data domains.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management, or related disciplines.
  • Experience working in highly regulated financial services environments.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality management, and data controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business and data problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Commercial Banking products and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • SQL
    • Alteryx
    • Ab Initio
    • Data Quality Management tools and methodologies
  • Experience supporting regulatory reporting initiatives, including:
    • FR Y-14Q
    • FR 2052a
  • Knowledge of enterprise data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data lineage concepts.
  • Experience with large-scale data transformation or modernization programs.
