Locations: Kennesaw, Charlotte, Richmond, Jacksonville
What You'll Do
- Design, write, and maintain PowerShell automation scripts from scratch to improve operational efficiency and system reliability
- Automate Windows Server-based operations, including monitoring, remediation, deployment assistance, and routine administration tasks
- Identify repetitive or manual processes and proactively build automation to eliminate them
- Partner with application teams, infrastructure teams, and DevOps peers to improve stability, performance, and operational maturity
- Support environments that may include Linux systems (setup handled by another team), requiring familiarity rather than deep administration
- Balance support responsibilities with engineering work, maintaining autonomy in how problems are approached and solved
- Document automation and operational processes clearly to enable team knowledge sharing
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience writing PowerShell scripts from scratch for automation (not just running or modifying existing code)
- Solid background with Windows Server in an operational or DevOps context
- Experience automating tasks from an operations perspective (monitoring, maintenance, remediation, deployments)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently and think beyond standard procedures
