RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Senior Java Developer to join their team.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced individual to join a team focused on building and supporting enterprise-scale order and inventory management platforms. This role will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of highly available backend services that power critical business operations across multiple applications and channels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices supporting order lifecycle management, product availability, fulfillment, and inventory operations
* Build resilient, high-performance backend systems that integrate with supply chain, logistics, and enterprise applications
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that ensure accurate product availability and order processing
* Develop APIs and services that support multiple consumer applications and internal platforms
* Improve system reliability, performance, scalability, and observability through best engineering practices
* Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions
* Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of professional experience
* Automated testing experience (TDD/Unit testing); Google Cloud Platform experience (preferred)
* Expert in building Java based Microservices with Spring Boot
* Some form of NoSQL (they use Cassandra)
* Go getter attitude who are learns and builds things on their own
* Ability to communicate technical concepts and ideas effectively
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
