Role Overview
We are seeking a Tech Business Analyst to work with multi-disciplinary teams on delivering technology solutions. This role is responsible for collaborating with technology and business partners to provide reliable solutions that align with established standards and best practices. The position involves performing intermediate to advanced business and project analysis for medium to large projects within Waterfall or Agile frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand stakeholder needs to assist in the formation of business cases and project scope.
- Utilize business analysis techniques for use case modeling, data modeling, and process mapping.
- Facilitate workshops for requirements elicitation, create documentation, and establish business capabilities.
- Translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models for system configuration.
- Demonstrate technical aptitude with querying tools and an understanding of relational databases.
- Participate in process redesign and support, including troubleshooting and identifying solutions for process improvements.
- Monitor expenditures and manage assets from a financial perspective to meet organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with the IT organization and stakeholders to develop, prioritize, and execute the technology portfolio plan.
- Provide training, mentoring, and work direction to other team members as needed.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a related field of study is required. Alternatively, an Associate's degree in a related field with 2 years of relevant work experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant work experience, is acceptable.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required, in addition to any experience noted above.
Skills: Candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a variety of business unit stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience related to Procurement or Supply Chain.
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly Maximo or Ariba.
