Data Analyst

Description

We are looking for a Data Analyst to support a luxury retail organization in Corte Madera, California. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing order to complex information, partnering with creative and marketing stakeholders, and improving how data moves across teams. The role calls for strong analytical skills, comfort working across several platforms, and the ability to prepare accurate, usable data for publishing and downstream business needs.

Responsibilities:
Partner with creative and marketing teams to fulfill daily data requests and ensure information is ready for active business use.
Organize, clean, and standardize inconsistent datasets gathered from multiple teams and systems to improve accuracy and usability.
Prepare and format files for downstream partners, making sure data structures align with workflow and publishing requirements.
Work across tools such as Oracle, Adobe Experience Manager, and Airtable to maintain data continuity between platforms.
Translate information between teams using different systems and file formats so assets and records remain usable throughout the process.
Support the movement and coordination of InDesign-related files and associated data between cross-functional teams.
Investigate and resolve metadata or tagging issues that affect file organization, discoverability, or handoff quality.
Guide team members on approved data handling practices to promote consistency and reduce operational confusion.
Assist senior colleagues with documentation, shadowing, and knowledge-sharing activities to strengthen team capability over time.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, data operations, or a related function.
Proficiency with SQL and the ability to work with queries in support of reporting, validation, or data preparation tasks.
Experience working with multiple database or data management tools in environments with uneven processes or data quality.
Familiarity with Oracle-based systems, Adobe Experience Manager, Airtable, or similar content and data platforms.
Background collaborating across several teams and translating business needs into accurate data outputs.
Working knowledge of InDesign-related file workflows and the ability to support file and data handoffs effectively.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and comfort managing messy or incomplete data.
Ability to balance changing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining data integrity.
