Description
We're supporting a Minnesota-based client with occasional IT needs and are looking for someone who has schedule flexibility and wants to pick up supplemental work.
This role is ad hoc and on demand. You may be called in for onsite support when needed, including after hours. Examples include helping with Windows updates or responding to critical issues that need immediate attention.
What you'd help with
Onsite IT support as needs arise
Windows updates and general system maintenance
Troubleshooting urgent issues impacting systems or products
Basic support across servers, firewalls, and Windows OS
What we're looking for
General hands-on knowledge of servers, firewalls, and Windows environments
Comfortable providing support outside regular business hours when required
Able to work independently and respond quickly
Willing to travel onsite as needed in west metro / west-central Minnesota

Requirements
5+ years of experience in support, network and systems administration or hands-on IT infrastructure support
Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, and Windows 10 environments
Familiarity with firewall support, including exposure to WatchGuard technologies
Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across servers, operating systems, and network security devices
Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions in time-sensitive situations
Willingness to travel onsite as needed and support occasional daytime and after-hours requests
