Role Summary
We are seeking a PeopleSoft Financials ERP Principal to lead the functional strategy, optimization, and ongoing evolution of the enterprise financial systems. In this role, you will serve as the primary functional expert for PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 and Oracle EPM, guiding the design, configuration, and roadmap for key financial modules. Your work will directly support financial governance, operational efficiency, compliance, and strategic planning.


You will partner closely with business and technology leaders to define system enhancements, streamline financial processes, and drive user adoption. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s financial technology landscape through innovation, modernization, and best practice alignment.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the functional strategy and long term roadmap for the enterprise financial systems
• Drive evaluation and adoption of new features, updates, and improvements using PUM and Fluid UI
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable system configurations and optimized workflows
• Lead fit gap sessions and solution design across GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, Budgeting, and Planning
• Oversee functional delivery of enhancements, including requirements, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure functional solutions are feasible and high performing
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring deliverables meet quality expectations and SLAs
• Develop and maintain functional documentation, process maps, and configuration guides

Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree and seven years of system or application administration experience related to financial ERP management
• Expertise with PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 and experience with core FMS modules
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management
• Strong background leading financial systems projects in enterprise or shared service environments
• Experience managing PUM cycles, reviewing release notes, and coordinating testing
• Ability to define performance metrics and manage internal and external SLAs
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with finance and IT stakeholders
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving ability, and adaptability in a fast evolving environment
