Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to lead the strategy, support, optimization, and governance of enterprise business applications. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, leadership teams, and technical resources to ensure technology investments align with organizational objectives.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application support, product management practices, systems analysis, and business process improvement. This individual will play a critical role in driving application adoption, defining product roadmaps, resolving complex system challenges, and delivering measurable business value.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and maintain enterprise application and product management strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Manage application portfolios, product roadmaps, intake processes, prioritization, and resource planning.

  • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to gather requirements and define technology solutions.

  • Translate business objectives into actionable initiatives, project requirements, and measurable outcomes.

  • Establish governance processes, decision-making frameworks, and product management best practices.

  • Monitor application performance, user adoption, and operational effectiveness through established metrics and KPIs.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance existing systems and business processes.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and business value.

  • Support implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise software platforms.

  • Coordinate testing activities, user acceptance testing, and system validation efforts.

  • Troubleshoot complex application issues and drive timely resolution.

  • Ensure application compatibility, integration, and overall system reliability.

  • Partner with vendors, technical teams, and business units to support ongoing operational needs.

  • Create and maintain documentation, training materials, and user procedures.

  • Deliver user education, training sessions, and change management initiatives.

  • Track support issues, resolution efforts, and improvement opportunities.

  • Assist with disaster recovery, backup validation, audit activities, and system continuity planning.

  • Communicate system updates, risks, and project status to leadership and stakeholders.


Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise business applications and information systems.

  • Experience managing or contributing to product management, application governance, or technology portfolios.

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise software platforms, including CRM, HR, financial, and business applications.

  • Hands-on experience with software implementation, enhancement, or maintenance efforts.

  • Working knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and database concepts.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Experience gathering business requirements and working with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of systems integration, software lifecycle processes, and application support methodologies.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.

  • Experience establishing product management frameworks, governance models, or operating structures.

  • Background working with executive leadership and enterprise-wide initiatives.

  • Experience measuring business outcomes through KPIs, adoption metrics, and portfolio reporting.

  • Knowledge of change management and organizational adoption strategies.

  • Familiarity with application security, audit practices, and business continuity planning.
