Are you an experienced Network Engineer with a passion for industrial technology, cybersecurity, and complex network environments? We're seeking an IT/OT Network Engineer to design, secure, and support the network infrastructure behind critical operational systems. The Operational Technology (OT) Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing the network infrastructure that supports Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), remote field operations, and critical infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Design, configure, and maintain Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure.
- Support routers, switches, firewalls, VPN technologies, wireless networks, and industrial networking equipment.
- Implement network segmentation, redundancy, and high-availability architectures.
- Manage communications infrastructure for remote operational sites.
- Troubleshoot WAN connectivity, VPN tunnels, and telecommunications systems.
- Strengthen OT cybersecurity through access controls, firewall management, and security best practices.
- Support Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud initiatives.
- Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and asset inventories.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of enterprise or industrial networking experience.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and industrial networking.
- Experience supporting remote connectivity and telecommunications infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
- Experience documenting complex technical environments.
- Understanding of industrial cybersecurity and network segmentation.
Preferred Experience
- SCADA, PLC, DCS, or Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
- Critical infrastructure industries such as utilities, renewable energy, manufacturing, oil & gas, or water/wastewater.
- NERC CIP familiarity.
- VMware or Hyper-V.
- PowerShell or Python scripting.

- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
- ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Certification
