Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and creative full-stack software developer to engineer new solutions and support existing capabilities for an agile software program. This role involves the design and development of front-end user interfaces that integrate with cloud-based software systems, following modern DevSecOps and Agile execution processes. The position requires collaboration with UX design teams on large, multi-faceted scaled systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform software development tasks including detailed software design, coding, and testing of user stories.
- Analyze customer requirements and ensure software implementations meet functional requirements.
- Present software designs and demonstrate release functionality to peers.
- Develop and sustain new and existing applications, including troubleshooting and resolving software issues.
- Contribute to the creation of new distributed components and interactions that align with future system architecture.
- Work on a multi-tiered system developed on a cloud infrastructure with several consumer-facing web applications.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 3+ years of experience is required in designing and developing software for complex systems, such as distributed systems or multi-threaded and multi-process applications.
- 3+ years of experience in object-oriented programming is also required.
- Experience with distributed version control systems such as GitHub or IBM Rational Team Concert is required.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense Top Secret clearance as a condition and continuation of employment.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $80.00 and $90.00 per hour. Please note that the pay rate may be negotiable based on experience and skills. Our benefits package is available to eligible employees.
