Key ResponsibilitiesEnd User & VIP Support- Provide onsite deskside and executive-level support for Windows 11 desktops and peripherals.
- Deliver white-glove technical assistance to VIP and Agency Headquarters users.
- Educate and guide users on system use, security best practices, and hardware/software functionality.
Systems & Infrastructure Support- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues using diagnostic and monitoring tools.
- Approve the operational quality of solution components and ensure systems meet performance expectations.
- Support LAN troubleshooting and resolve connectivity issues.
Server & Network Administration- Support Windows Server setup, configuration, and O&M activities.
- Perform admin tasks including:
- AD account management
- NTFS permissions
- SMB share administration
- Print server support
- Participate in network or infrastructure upgrades and network software testing.
- Assist in developing and executing contingency plans for system outages.
Technical Leadership & Documentation- Provide technical consulting to internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Support testing and evaluation of new hardware, software, and network technologies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of incidents, changes, and project work.
- Act as liaison between customer and internal technical teams, helping define next steps for issue resolution.
Required QualificationsCore Technical Expertise- Strong Windows 11 desktop support experience, including advanced troubleshooting, system configuration, and issue resolution.
- Minimum of 7-10+ years of end-user/deskside support experience in a customer-facing environment.
- Proven experience supporting VIP or executive-level users with a high degree of professionalism.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, including:
- Active Directory Users and Computers
- NTFS permissions
- SMB network share permissions
- Print server management
- Fundamental LAN troubleshooting and experience using performance/monitoring tools.
Network & System Administration- Experience providing technical support involving server hardware and operating system setup, configuration, and O&M.
- Background supporting or participating in network administration, upgrades, or system/network software testing.
Education- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Nice to Have- Experience evaluating new technologies, tools, or system enhancements and recommending improvements.
- Prior involvement in leading network projects or modernization initiatives
