Infrastructure Lead

We are seeking a high-level Infrastructure Lead to serve as the technical expert and operational anchor for a mission-critical COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) product portfolio. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business operations and central IT infrastructure teams, ensuring seamless deployment, security, and performance of enterprise applications.

Core Responsibilities

• Product Lifecycle Management: Own the full lifecycle of COTS products, from evaluation and deployment to long-term operational support.
• Infrastructure & Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact for central IT teams (Server, Storage, Networking, and Security) to coordinate infrastructure provisioning and firewall policies.
• Vendor Management: Guide and oversee vendor relationships, directing their resources during implementations and managing support escalations/SLAs.
• Advanced Security: Implement and manage OPSWAT MetaDefender for threat prevention, data sanitization, and secure file uploads.
• Mentorship: Lead and train junior/mid-level IT staff, establishing technical standards and comprehensive runbooks.

Top Technical Skills (9+ Years Required)

To be successful, candidates must demonstrate expert-level experience in the following:

• Platform Mastery: Windows Server Administration and Active Directory.
• Middleware: Tomcat and IIS configuration/optimization.
• Security Tools: OPSWAT MetaDefender deployment (Multi-scanning & CDR).
• Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Azure/AWS (GovCloud preferred).
• Networking: F5 Load Balancers, WAF protection, Firewall rules, and network traffic analysis.
• Identity & Access: Expertise in TLS/SSL certificates and SAML authentication.

Experience Requirements

• 9 years of relevant technical experience.
• A 4-year degree or equivalent technical study.
• Proven track record in government or highly regulated environments.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
