Description
We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Belmont, North Carolina. In this role, you will provide essential technical support to users, ensuring smooth system operations and addressing technical concerns with patience and professionalism. This position involves working closely with individuals who may have limited technical experience, requiring strong communication and teaching skills.
Responsibilities:
Deliver Level 1 technical support, resolving hardware and software issues for users in a timely and efficient manner.
Assist a community of users with varying technical abilities, ensuring clear and empathetic communication.
Manage service desk tickets, prioritizing and addressing up to 50 incidents daily.
Provide onsite support five days a week, ensuring consistent availability for users.
Travel to an additional site every other week to provide hands-on technical assistance as needed.
Support users nationally through a call center environment, ensuring remote issues are resolved effectively.
Troubleshoot basic network and system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Maintain and update user accounts in Active Directory to ensure proper access and security.
Utilize Microsoft Windows 10 and other tools to diagnose and resolve technical problems.
Collaborate with team members to improve support processes and enhance user satisfaction.
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Experience working with Active Directory for user account management.
Familiarity with handling service desk tickets and resolving technical issues efficiently.
Knowledge of network basics and the ability to address connectivity problems.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to teach and communicate technology concepts to non-technical users.
Willingness to travel to a secondary site every other week.
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
Previous experience in a call center or help desk environment is preferred but not required.
