Security Manager

Description

We are looking for an experienced Security Manager to oversee and enhance the security measures of our organization in Peridot, Arizona. This long-term contract position requires a proactive individual skilled in cybersecurity practices and enterprise-level security strategies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring the integrity of network systems.

Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain robust security protocols to protect organizational assets.
Monitor security systems and respond to potential threats in real-time.
Manage application and enterprise security measures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Lead efforts in cybersecurity risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Oversee Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) operations to analyze and address vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen network security and prevent unauthorized access.
Implement policies and procedures that align with regulatory and organizational requirements.
Train staff on security best practices and promote awareness across all levels of the organization.
Prepare regular reports on security performance and incidents for management review.

Requirements

Proven experience in cybersecurity and enterprise security management.
Expertise in application security and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
Strong knowledge of network security protocols and practices.
Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
Ability to analyze and mitigate security risks effectively.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.
Bachelor's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
