Genesis10 is currently seeking a Cloud Compliance Analyst/Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This client-facing role provides risk management support to all lines of business by applying cloud governance control objectives to applications using cloud service providers like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to established policies, standards, and requirements. This position ensures that controls used to mitigate business and application risks are properly implemented, fully executed, and sustainable for each use case presented for production approval.
Responsibilities: - Provide technical cloud guidance to internal teams navigating the on-boarding process and procedures
- Apply control objectives to applications using cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform), ensuring adherence to policies, standards, and requirements
- Ensure that controls used to mitigate business and application risks are properly implemented, fully executed, and sustainable
- Serve as a consultant in maintaining quality of evidence and the oversight of control evidence
- Host and guide 4-5 active cloud use cases through the governance pipeline simultaneously
- Work with application teams, engineering operations, and IT governance bodies
- Decipher and follow engineering data flow diagrams (DFD) and overlay the relevance of IT standards
Requirements: - Comprehensive baseline knowledge of all applicable IT policies, standards, and requirements applicable to a cloud model
- Knowledge of Cloud Service Providers (CSP) like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform platform functionality and related services
- Ability to understand key cloud technologies and application development concepts, such as Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, code repositories, change management procedures, and automated testing
- Experience in agile development and tooling
- Excellent communication, organizational leadership, coaching, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate complex technology solutions to senior stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Word
Desired skills: - People management soft skills, needed to adjust to different knowledge levels and communication styles
- Motivation to independently stay abreast of the fast-changing CSP industry
- Critical thinking and self-management skills
Pay range: $43.56 - $51.56 per hour
