Business Analyst & Process Design (Telecom OSS/BSS)
Location : Remote
Job Description:
The role requires a strong Business Analyst with expertise in process design and transformation within the telecom domain, with a specific focus on OSS/BSS systems. The candidate will bridge business needs with technology solutions by analyzing requirements, designing optimized processes, and supporting end-to-end transformation initiatives across telecom operations and customer-facing systems.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements across OSS (Operations Support Systems) and BSS (Business Support Systems).
Translate business needs into process designs, workflows, and solution requirements aligned with OSS/BSS architecture.
Lead process design and re-engineering initiatives across areas such as order management, service fulfillment, provisioning, billing, and assurance.
Create detailed process models using UML diagrams (Use Case, Activity, Sequence diagrams).
Apply industry frameworks like eTOM for standardized telecom process design.
Perform AS-IS vs TO-BE gap analysis across OSS/BSS layers and recommend transformation strategies.
Collaborate with IT, network, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration between OSS and BSS systems.
Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and requirement validation sessions.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure solutions meet business and operational expectations.
Key Skills
Strong understanding of OSS/BSS architecture and telecom lifecycle processes.
Expertise in process modeling, business analysis, and solution design.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in stakeholder management across business and technical teams.
Familiarity with telecom systems such as CRM, billing, provisioning, inventory, and network management.
Ability to work in complex transformation programs involving multiple systems and stakeholders.
