Role: Developer - Full Stack Professional

Supporting: Large Financial Services Client

Location: McLean, VA (Onsite)

Assignment Type: Contract to Hire

Duration: ~ 6 Months

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Full Stack Developer with strong Java and Angular expertise to join a fast-paced Agile team. This is a hands-on opportunity to design, build, and deploy scalable applications using modern technologies, with the ability to make an immediate impact across the full software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack applications using Java, Angular, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web services using Java EE, Spring Boot, and XML/JSON
  • Develop dynamic user interfaces using Angular and RXJS
  • Implement unit and automation testing to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Integrate and manage databases, including MongoDB/Atlas, within AWS-based solutions
  • Support cloud deployments using AWS services, EKS, and OpenShift
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, ANT, and shell scripting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Lean/Kanban environments
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Independently manage development from design through post-production support


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • Strong full stack experience with Java (backend-focused) and Angular (frontend)
  • Experience working in fast-paced Agile teams
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot) and microservices architecture
  • Experience building applications and web services using Java EE, Angular, XML/JSON
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, ANT, and shell scripting
  • Experience with MongoDB/Atlas and AWS technologies
  • Strong understanding of Angular and RXJS for UI development
  • Ability to independently own development work from analysis to production support


Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $50.00 and $66.13 per hour. Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and other factors.
