This role will focus on the complete rebuild and redesign of all Global Business Continuity (GRBC) documentation. This includes procedures, user guides, and training materials. The position involves migrating all customer-facing content from SharePoint to Confluence and developing a structured Confluence documentation library. The objective is to create clear, concise, and easily maintainable documentation in collaboration with subject matter experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Rewrite and redesign procedural and user documentation from scratch.
- Migrate content from SharePoint to a new, structured Confluence documentation library.
- Develop intuitive page hierarchies, templates, navigation, and labeling within Confluence.
- Standardize page layouts and improve searchability to ensure documentation is easy to consume and maintain.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather, clarify, and validate technical information.
- Create mixed-media training and onboarding materials, including quick start guides, how-to articles, and reference sheets.
- Ensure all content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with updated documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of technical writing experience.
Technical Skills:- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word and Confluence.
- Familiarity with SharePoint pages, lists, and document libraries.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify and structure complex processes.
- Excellent interviewing, organization, and content-structuring skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality content quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with documentation redesign, cleanup, or migration projects.
- Familiarity with technical Business Continuity and Operational Resiliency concepts.
- Understanding of the relationship and flow from Policy, Standards, Process, and Procedures.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $65.00 and $70.00 per hour. A comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.
