The Opportunity
This role is based in New York, NY, offering a hybrid work model (3 day in-office, 2 days remote) and an elite compensation package ranging from $300,000 to $800,000, supplemented by sign-on bonuses, relocation assistance, and full visa sponsorship for qualified candidates.
The Mission
StaffRight Associates has been retained to identify elite Machine Learning Researchers and Engineers to spearhead the synthesis of Large Language Models (LLMs) with high-fidelity molecular science. This role is not merely about model deployment; it is a mission to engineer a foundational bridge between advanced computational linguistics and the atomic-level simulation of biological systems. You will orchestrate the development of multimodal architectures that translate complex scientific data into actionable breakthroughs in drug discovery, leveraging some of the world''s most sophisticated, custom-built supercomputing environments to redefine the limits of biophysical simulation.
Core Technical Objectives
Orchestrate the end-to-end lifecycle of massive-scale LLM training, optimizing complex workflows to extract maximum performance from proprietary high-performance computing (HPC) ecosystems.
Engineer robust data ingestion and pre-training pipelines capable of handling distributed and parallel training across specialized hardware architectures.
Refine model intelligence through advanced post-training methodologies, including instruction tuning, contrastive learning, and reinforcement learning frameworks.
Synthesize multimodal learning systems that integrate non-textual data—such as 3D atomic coordinates, molecular graphs, and temporal series—into unified transformer-based architectures.
Validate the structural alignment of model outputs against real-world molecular dynamics, ensuring that computational predictions maintain first-principles accuracy.
