We are looking for a Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery for a critical health data modernization project. You will own the Agile execution environment, ensuring high-quality delivery by removing impediments and maintaining an audit-ready workflow within Azure DevOps (ADO). This role focuses on optimizing delivery flow and establishing transparent reporting practices for data engineering and governance teams.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- ADO Configuration: Manage the ADO project structure, including Epics, Features, and User Stories, ensuring full traceability from tasks to releases.
- Ceremony Facilitation: Lead all Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives, while documenting impediment logs and action items.
- Agile Metrics & Reporting: Develop live dashboards for burndown/burn-up charts, flow efficiency, velocity tracking, and team capacity planning.
- Backlog & Quality Management: Facilitate backlog refinement, ensure stories meet the Definition of Ready, and verify compliance with the Definition of Done.
- Team Development: Conduct team maturity assessments and create improvement roadmaps for process and tooling efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Certification: Active Scrum Master Certification (CSM or equivalent) is mandatory.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO), including Boards, Repos, Pipelines, and Wikis.
- Relevant Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile facilitation, preferably within DataOps, cloud environments, or healthcare data sectors.
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles, Kanban, and integrating governance tasks into active sprints.
- Background: Must pass a national criminal background check and be eligible for U.S. employment.
