Job Description
We are seeking an Application Programmer III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in application and production support, data engineering, and ETL and a proven ability to design, develop, test, deploy, and support customer relationship analytics solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver application and production support for customer relationship analysis platforms.
- Drive design, development, testing, and deployment for key customer relationship initiatives.
- Interface with architecture, data management, business development, compliance, and infrastructure teams to complete work efforts.
- Provide technical direction and system architecture for support tasks and small projects.
- Serve as a seasoned technical resource for troubleshooting and optimization.
- Analyze incidents to determine root cause and implement resolutions and preventive measures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of database design and complex SQL, including performance tuning.
- Extensive hands-on experience with UNIX shell scripting and ETL tools.
- Working or applied experience in one or more: Hadoop, Spark, Python, PySpark, Teradata.
- Experience with job scheduling using Autosys.
- Proven root cause analysis and production support experience.
- Good communication skills and effective teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn new technical skills and apply them to projects and support efforts.
- Experience level: 5-7 years of relevant work.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with MLlib (Spark ML library) for data processing and modeling.
- Background in Agile or Scrum delivery.
