Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 6+ years of hands-on platform engineering experience to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise-scale ServiceNow applications. This role supports critical enterprise resiliency platforms, including Enterprise Services Portfolio (ESP) and Business Continuity Management (BCM), and emphasizes automation, integrations, and scalable solution design.

The ideal candidate is a strong ServiceNow engineer with deep configuration, scripting, and integration experience, ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications, and familiarity working in Agile delivery environments.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and support complex ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities
  • Manage and enhance Enterprise Services Portfolio (ESP) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) applications
  • Develop and maintain JavaScript-based server-side and client-side scripts
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues and support ongoing platform improvements
  • Design and implement integrations, including potential integrations with full-stack Java applications
  • Lead and contribute to automation initiatives, including automated testing frameworks
  • Collaborate with platform engineering, production support, and cross-functional business stakeholders
  • Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning requirements
  • Ensure solutions align with compliance, risk management, and enterprise standards
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint-based delivery
  • Mentor and influence peers while working independently or as part of a Scrum team
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience (or equivalent combination of education, training, military, or work experience)
  • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience (new development and production support)
  • 6+ years of ServiceNow engineering experience preferred
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Strong JavaScript development experience
  • Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies
  • Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams (1+ year)
  • Proven experience with ServiceNow configuration, customization, and integrations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Playwright or ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) experience
  • Full-stack Java development background
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with Java-based applications
  • Business Continuity Management (BCM) implementation or support experience
  • Experience with automation-focused testing strategies
  • Prior experience supporting ServiceNow in large enterprise environments
  • Corporate real estate or enterprise services technology delivery experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Additional Information
  • ServiceNow platform deployments are handled by a dedicated operations team
  • Onboarding ramp-up expected within approximately two sprint cycles
  • Contractors are expected to follow standard non-billable time-off policies (no consecutive multi-week absences)
