Systems Engineer

Description

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Yuba City, California. This role focuses on managing and enhancing IT systems while ensuring seamless operation and user support. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Citrix Technologies to contribute to the success of daily operations and long-term initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Active Directory, ensuring security and optimal performance.
Oversee Microsoft Windows Servers, managing configurations and updates.
Implement and support Azure Active Directory solutions to enhance cloud-based operations.
Manage Citrix Technologies to deliver reliable virtual desktop and application services.
Provide technical expertise for Microsoft Exchange, ensuring smooth email and communication systems.
Collaborate on the rollout and support of audiovisual systems to meet organizational needs.
Train team members on advanced IT technologies to enhance skills and knowledge.
Support and maintain Pearson PowerSchool and Frontline Education systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
Document processes and system changes to ensure clarity and continuity.

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems engineering or related roles.
Proficiency in Active Directory administration and management.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments.
Experience with Azure Active Directory and its applications.
Familiarity with Citrix Technologies and virtual desktop solutions.
Competence in managing Microsoft Exchange systems.
Knowledge of Pearson PowerSchool and Frontline Education software is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
