Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our organization's technology infrastructure and operations. This role requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual who can work independently, providing strategic leadership while handling day-to-day IT responsibilities. As a Contract to permanent position, this opportunity offers the potential for long-term growth within our team in West Valley, Utah.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
Manage and maintain infrastructure, including on-premise and cloud systems, network devices, and servers.
Ensure system security by implementing and overseeing cybersecurity measures, including endpoint security and vulnerability management.
Provide direct IT support, resolving hardware, software, and application issues for both remote and onsite employees.
Oversee user onboarding and offboarding processes, including device provisioning and access management.
Lead IT-related projects such as system upgrades, office expansions, and security initiatives.
Monitor system performance and ensure business continuity through effective backup and disaster recovery plans.
Maintain vendor relationships, manage contracts, and optimize IT expenditures.
Conduct regular security training for employees and respond to security incidents as needed.
Create and maintain IT policies, documentation, and procedures to ensure operational consistency.
Requirements
Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive IT experience, including independent or solo IT management roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure AD.
Solid expertise in managing Windows and Mac OS environments.
Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including firewalls, VPNs, and configuration management.
Experience with endpoint management tools like Intune or Jamf.
Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
