Senior IT Project Manager(Banking Domain)

Project Execution & Governance

• Lead daily stand-ups with the project team (Central Time schedule).
• Facilitate monthly formal status reporting, including progress, risks, issues, and decisions required.
• Conduct one-on-one team check-ins to ensure alignment, identify blockers, and validate progress.
• Maintain project plans, RAID logs, timelines, and documentation aligned with PMO standards.
• Manage both Agile rituals and Waterfall checkpoints depending on the project structure.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with the business owner to ensure requirements, acceptance criteria, and outcomes are well defined.
• Communicate project updates to cross-functional stakeholders in a clear, structured, and concise manner.
• Navigate stakeholder expectations, negotiate priorities, and escalate risks when appropriate.

Risk, Issue & Change Management

• Identify potential delays or impacts early and drive mitigation strategies.
• Manage change requests and ensure appropriate approvals and documentation.
• Track dependencies across teams and ensure coordinated delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 6–8 years of Project Management experience
• Experience delivering projects in both Waterfall and Agile environments
• Exceptional verbal and written communication
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across business and IT partners
• Highly organized; strong prioritization skills in a deadline-driven, enterprise setting
• Experience working in financial services or other highly regulated industries

• PMP (PMI) Certification
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI‑ACP)
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
• Disciplined Agile (DASM/DASSM)
• Six Sigma certification
