Role Summary

Seeking two experienced senior project managers to lead complex technology and software initiatives within a dynamic enterprise environment. These roles require strong foundational knowledge of project management principles combined with the ability to promptly assess project needs, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery of multiple parallel projects. The successful candidates will drive project success through strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and effective resource management, supporting diverse IT and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of software and technology projects following established IT project management methodologies.
  • Develop detailed project plans, coordinate resources, and monitor project progress to ensure milestones are met.
  • Manage vendor relationships, facilitate RFP processes, and oversee proof of concept, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
  • Oversee multiple projects across various technology domains including enterprise applications, infrastructure, data platforms, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Assess project risks, dependencies, budgets, and resource conflicts; implement contingency plans as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with business and IT teams to align technical solutions with operational and strategic needs.
  • Build and lead high-performing project teams by leveraging individual strengths and fostering collaboration across departments.
  • Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Manage shifting priorities and make strategic decisions in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Support continuous improvement of project management practices, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or a related field; equivalent professional experience accepted.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • 6-8 years of experience managing multiple complex projects, preferably within enterprise IT environments.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams utilizing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Azure DevOps (TFS), Microsoft Office Suite, and Visio.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage resources, budgets, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to shifting priorities, and make informed decisions under pressure.

  • This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.

Publishing Pay Range: $90.00 - $95.00 hourly

Location Requirements: This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
