Summary

Location: Columbia, SC
Work Arrangement: 100% Remote (Must reside in the Continental US and work EST hours).

Core Responsibilities

CA Plex Maintenance: Maintain and support the CA Plex-based CMS across multiple environments, including updating objects, functions, and relationships.
Feature Development: Design and implement enhancements to business rules, workflows, and batch processes within the CA Plex model.
Database Management: Write and optimize SQL Server (T-SQL) queries and stored procedures; perform performance tuning for datasets containing millions of records.
System Integration: Support critical integrations with law enforcement (SLED), DMV eDisposition, eCitation systems, and Public Index platforms.
Data Integrity: Troubleshoot data anomalies and implement sustainable fixes to ensure accuracy across integrated judicial systems.
Knowledge Transfer: Document system changes and business rules to assist internal staff and modernization teams during the transition to new architectures.

Required Experience & Skills

Application Development: 10+ years of professional development experience.
CA Plex: 7+ years of expertise in CA Plex or similar 4GL/model-driven environments.
SQL Server: 7+ years of experience with SQL Server and T-SQL.
Legacy Systems: 7+ years of experience maintaining and extending legacy enterprise systems.
Problem Solving: 10+ years of advanced debugging and root cause analysis skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Public Sector: Experience in judicial, government, or South Carolina state systems.
Modernization Tools: Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Power BI backend optimization, and .NET data access patterns.
Technical Breadth: Experience with generated languages (C++, Java, or .NET from Plex) and Always On Availability Groups.
Domain Knowledge: Understanding of the court case lifecycle (Filed Pending Disposed) and performance metrics.
