Location: Hybrid - Winchester, VA or Pensacola, FL (first week fully onsite for onboarding.)
Assignment Type: Contract Only
Duration: ~8 months (through 12/31/2026) (Extensions based on performance and business needs)

Key Responsibilities:- Plan and manage instructional design projects with multiple deliverables, risk, and complexity
- Design and develop classroom, virtual, online, and self-paced learning programs that drive performance and behavior change
- Conduct needs assessments and translate business objectives into clear learning objectives and instructional strategies
- Create dynamic instructional materials, training games, and technology-driven learning products
- Collaborate with trainers and stakeholders to evaluate course effectiveness and continuously improve learning content
- Develop, edit, and manage learning activities, assignments, and reports within the LMS
- Convert instructor-led training into self-paced eLearning experiences
- Apply instructional design models and adult learning theory to select the most effective delivery approaches
- Validate and integrate feedback, assessments, and course evaluations into learning content
- Present learning solutions to various audiences, including leadership
- Train internal team members on effective use of ILT, VILT, and learning environments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:- 3-5 years of instructional design or curriculum development experience or equivalent education
- Advanced knowledge of instructional design processes (ADDIE, SAM) and Adult Learning Theory
- Strong eLearning design experience
- Proficiency with Articulate Rise and Storyline
- Experience converting instructor-led training to self-paced formats
- Strong visual design, content development, and research skills
- Ability to evaluate learning effectiveness and improve content and delivery methods
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate information to all levels of an organization
- Proven ability to manage fluctuating workloads and collaborate across teams
Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $21.00 and $31.39 per hour. Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and other factors.
